Nursing Program

Thank you for your interest in our Associate Degree Nursing Program to become an RN. We started our program in 1970, and we are very proud that approximately 1,400 students have graduated and that our overall State Board passage rate is 98%.

The KCKCC Nursing Program was re-accredited by the National League for Nursing Accreditation Council in September of 2005 for an 8-year period and is currently approved by the Kansas State Board of Nursing.

Our 2-year program consists of four semesters (two spring and two fall). Thirty-nine credit hours of general education are also required, either before you start nursing, or while you are in nursing. To be accepted into our program, you must complete your science courses and math, and have at least a 2.5 cumulative grade point average.
