Autobiography:
Born in Ankara, Turkey 1964. Came to U.S. in 1981 as an AFS student to Truman High School, Independence,MO. After graduating from Truman HS, attended Central Missouri State University, Warrensburg, MO as a freshmen 1982-83 and then transferred to Bogazici University, Istanbul, Turkey where received an Electrical Engineering degree in 1987. Came back to CMSU where I received a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics in 1990. Started teaching at Kansas City Kansas Community College in 1990 as an adjunct instructor while attending University of Kansas towards a Ph.D. degree, then got married in 1991 and quit graduate study at KU. In 1993 became a full time faculty in Mathematics department at KCKCC where I have been teaching since then, and had a precious daughter named Sibel in 1994. After a divorce in 1997, started living with my daughter and raising her with pride and morality. I believe in honesty, dedication, responsibility and hard work which all together pays back to the individual with great success in his /her life.
